History: Theobald was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Ernest embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents were killed by brigands in a raid when he was still a young child. The brigands captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and retire the richest man in the east
