Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by brigands. Aline was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the brigands.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and she is greedy

Through the years after Jacoba was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east.
