Her attire stands in sharp contrast to her pickaxe, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a skull on it. She wears a wide-brimmed hat to hide her balding. Her hazel eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Joan is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

Description: A 5'2" northern man, he wears dull white sweaters, loose violet pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed sai, just in case. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. He is baby faced.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Hugh isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Roofer but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Hugh was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
