History: Avelina was born with her father's beautiful face. As a young child she wandered into the woods despite her father's warnings against it. Afterwards she claimed she had encountered goblins who tried to eat her hand. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Miner work with an outfit from a few towns over.
