History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Soapmaker for the past few years.

Personality: Herleva wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Paladin, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Herleva was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 43. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. Percival enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He now mingles about in high society.
