Personality: She is fixated on the number 8. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. She is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Joan was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. After coming to the age of reason, Joan took it upon herself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Clerebold embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He was raised in a forest tribe. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He's also a talented Body Guard, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Apothecary responsibilities is difficult; and wants to open a new tavern

Description: This exceptionally lanky man does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. He wears his auburn hair up in a very large beehive style do. He has green eyes and a pastel hat with a blue feather.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.
