History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Map Maker they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Bookbinder, and he later adopted a second daughter.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Mary grew up listening to her father's many stories. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.
