History: Born in the south to a Bellfounder, Miles learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. A gifted student he started as a Knight, but he got bored and became a Bellfounder. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.

History: He was born into a rich family. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. John was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: Revenge; and many gnolls want him driven away
