Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: This malnourished man very much looks the part of a Guard. His chestnut hair is unkempt and raggedy. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Lance will drive conversation. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Lance was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His childhood dream was to be a Blacksmith, but he was a colossal failure. He struck the Guard job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: Expand his business; and sabotage a competitor

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his singing with anyone who is interested.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Bernard took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up glaive and armor he uses now. He tends to his Hunter job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
