His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: She swings through moods quickly. One moment she is cool and collected, the next she is carried away by passions. Rosamund is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Stylist. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
