History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Simon was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the south. Williamina was born on a far western forest where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Scribe. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Bather. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: Born in the south to a Painter, Eleanor learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She now spends her time doing works of charity.
