History: The child of a Tanner, who enjoyed hunting, Patrick was taken on many hunting expeditions. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the south. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. Some 5 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Bernard never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.
