History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Miles alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Reynard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

History: Born in the west to a Marshal, Everard learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. A freak accident while working with his Sellsword mother left him crippled. He now owns his own business.
