When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Brewer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Gunter grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Gunter. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.
