History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered east to less war torn lands. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. Through the years after Alexandre was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Alexandre's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he loathes his own lifestyle

History: Henry hails from a village terrorized by orcs. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it; and he wants revenge against orcs
