History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Joan was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Joan's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She tends to her Layabout job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her father. Motivation: A deep hatred of orcs; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and she desires to right it

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.
