History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents were killed by giants in a raid when he was still a young child. The giants captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Gifted from a young age, Hubert studied abroad. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Hubert's homeland. Hubert decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
