History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Alex was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Alex's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

History: Born in the east to a Tanner, Eleanor learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
