Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his painting with anyone who is interested.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. A gifted student she started as a Masseuse, but she got bored and became a Fisher. She has worked as a Fisher like her father before her.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Ruler responsibilities is difficult.
