History: Nicholas was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He moved out south to avoid the crime he committed. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

History: Alex was born the youngest of three triplets. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Spice Merchant. Being a Spice Merchant kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: He was raised in a forest tribe. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
