History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Emeny was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Personality: She considers herself a woman of culture and sophistication. She likes a good challenge to her wits. She claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day she will do what she thinks is right.

History: Joan was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency.
