History: Dean lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. Alice is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: Alice hails from a village terrorized by goblins. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by goblins. Alice was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the goblins.

Personality: She is shy and timid. She has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. Energy wise she seems alert and responsive.

History: Emeny was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.
