History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He became a Carter soon after.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and he is unsatisfied with his job
