Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Mercenary born in the past three hundred years. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Description: This woman is bedraggled and starved. She likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. Her brown hair is lengthy. Her eyes are violet and she is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. She takes great joy in being the best Masseuse in town.

History: Jane was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend.

Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. Flattery will make her almost putty in your hands.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Maynild was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She uses money and sex appeal to get what she needs; and money/treasure
