History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Mary was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. In her 16th year, her parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Mary alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by drow. Mary was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the drow.
