Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Sailor. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

History: Mary was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He was granted martial powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.
