Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. Tim enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Tim hails from a village terrorized by giants. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. Some 7 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Tim never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

History: Ernest hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
