History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Navigator they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Carter, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
