History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Painter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: Katherine speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. She refers to her adoptive father for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her first spouse was a Gardener, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: She considers herself a woman of culture and sophistication. She likes a good challenge to her wits. Giselle enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her mother. Through the years after Giselle was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Giselle's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

History: Griselda lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: To unite with her sister.
