History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Gilbert was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his 15th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Geoffrey has worked very hard to control his curse. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Henry hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Henry alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Eva embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: Eva was born the youngest of three triplets. Her first spouse was a Bellfounder, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
