Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.
History: Everard hails from a village terrorized by goblins. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he is renowned for his bright black suits and hats. He keeps his red hair in a flapper bob. His fierce hazel eyes like to dwell on things.
Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He has all his life been fascinated with writing.
History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.
Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and doesn't want to be a sculptor and was forced into it by his family

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.
History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the south were limited. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Bricklayer.

Description: Runty and weak-looking, she does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when she can avoid it. She sports a flattop hair cut. She wears large thick round spectacles.
Personality: She does not care much for physical appearances, nor does she care much for other people. She does however care about what she wants and getting it. She refers to her adoptive mother for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.
History: A child with a great deal of painting talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Anne was born on a far western desert where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Unemployed. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: To reunite with her absent mother.
