History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He married young, but lost his spouse to brigands. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He tends to his Blacksmith job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
