History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Carter arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Bertram fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Egelina grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
