History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. A gifted student he started as a Ploughman, but he got bored and became a Mayor. He struck the Mayor job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Through the years after Maynild was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Maynild's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Maynild was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
