Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He wears a tattered pair of loose black pants, a matching torn shirt, and a visible pair of similar condition same color briefs. He keeps his blonde hair in a pixie cut. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: Cory hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Cory was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Tanner born in the past three hundred years. She can't help but pocket interesting objects she comes across

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and to be a miner again

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. Thomas enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Thomas grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Adventurer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and she doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes
