History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Description: A woman with a warm, jovial air about her, she prefers to wear tan pants and tee shirts. She sports red long hair. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Matilda was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature sword.
