Personality: She is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks her mind. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.
History: She was born on a small isolated farm. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Human companion (her 'brother'). She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Description: This southern woman dresses well, typically a more casual-formal manner. Her clothes are grease stained in places. Her red hair is cut short. She is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.
Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. She has all her life been fascinated with painting.
History: When she was but 8 years old her parents immigrated from the south. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She has never given up on her painting dream.
Motivation: Regain custody of her daughter; and marry her sister to traveling adventurers

Her moppish silver hair is in a traditional bowl cut. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.
Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Juliana grew up listening to her father's many stories. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Human companion (her 'brother'). She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
Motivation: She desires power and/or immortality; and she wants revenge against dire rats

Description: This man sports yellow clothing, slightly heavier than average wear. He is muscular with a powerful set of arms. His brown hair is braided into rings. He wears an eyepatch.
Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.
History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Aldous was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Stableman. He tends to his Stableman job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.
