History: He was born into a rich family. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Charles took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up quarterstaff and armor he uses now. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: She was born in a small mountains village. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Jacoba was born the youngest of three triplets. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
