Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He dresses well, wearing tan shirts, loose pants, and blazers most of the time. He has a brown handlebar mustache and slicked back brown hair. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: He got into the Courier business at a young age. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He then took over the family business and is one of the better Courier for hire.
Motivation: Expand his business.

Description: A woman with a cold, calculating air about her, she wears well tailored gowns and hats with beautiful decoration. She is almost always dressed for an outing in high society. She wears a deerstalker hat to cover her moderate length silver hair. Her otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.
Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, she has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. Oriel is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.
History: Oriel lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of freemasons.
Motivation: To reunite with her absent mother.

Description: This man prefers to wear flannel, and sports empty pouches on his belt. Sporting a black mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. He wears an eyepatch.
Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.
History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Raymond was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.
Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
