When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Born in the north to a Bookbinder, Cecily learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She has had some formal dancing training, and achieved minor success. She has never given up on her dancing dream.
