History: The child of a Mason, who enjoyed hunting, Tim was taken on many hunting expeditions. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Ruler born in the past three hundred years. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Heward grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Heward. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Ruler.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing poetry.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and he is content

Personality: She never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. She is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Rosamund has worked very hard to control her curse. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: She's looking for her big break; and she wants to meet her childhood hero
