History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. In her 12th year, her parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Emmeline alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
