Description: He wears an entirely brown suit with blue socks and a vest with buckled shoes, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 6'4" when asserting himself. His golden hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines blue.
Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.
History: He comes from a rich eastern family. Through the years after Nicholas was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Nicholas's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it.

Description: She is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers her face most of the time. She carries a battered trident and tarnished whip as well. Her white hair is braided into rings. She has violet eyes.
Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.
History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. Ahlyssa liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. Her addictions have taken their toll on her wallet, and she has found herself with a great deal of debt owed.
Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and to pay off her debts

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of gnolls once and for all.
History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and she desires to right it; and revenge

Personality: She likes to be helpful to her clients. She likes to prescribe proper advice to her clients. Her actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as she answers to a power that mortal women fail to acknowledge.
History: Millicent was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Blacksmith work with an outfit from a few towns over. Blacksmith work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She tends to her Blacksmith job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.
Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and she is unsatisfied with her job
