History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: She can speak with the recently deceased. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother.

Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Knight born in the past three hundred years. A true patriot, Ida would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Ida was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She tends to her Knight job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Personality: She misses her glory days as an athlete. She does not mind her job, but it is boring in comparison. She will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Rosamund hails from a village terrorized by giants. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of giants; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and she desires to right it
