Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he wears silk and lounges about seductively. He has a white handlebar mustache and slicked back white hair. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of illithids once and for all.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Bernard has worked very hard to control his curse. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. She invites people to come help in her community garden.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. When Joan reached her early adolescence her Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She's also a talented Jeweler, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: Born to a Bowyer, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She now mingles about in high society.
