History: She comes from a rich northern family. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She now mingles about in high society.

History: Anselm hails from a village terrorized by drow. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Anselm alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: John hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his dancing career. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, John was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors.
