History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. In her 16th year, her parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Ermina alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. After a long history of fighting, Emma and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: Robert was born the youngest of three triplets. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Robert grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Robert. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and regain custody of his son
