When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Crown-heir hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: He got into the Cook business at a young age. His first spouse was a Fisher, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Cook.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Cook responsibilities is difficult; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Beggar. She's also a talented Bounty Hunter, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and seeks redemption
