She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Masseuse for the past few years.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family His necromantic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions
