History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. After coming to the age of reason, Jacoba took it upon herself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Cartwright for hire.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Cartwright responsibilities is difficult; and to be a blacksmith again

History: Elizabeth was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Her mother was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She tends to her Architect job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it; and to be a stylist again

Description: He is an average looking northern male in his early mid-life. He wears light armors faded through time and improper care. His hair, while still mostly white, has prominent grey streaks. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He is content; and to end his boredom
